How do I apply Barge?
Make sure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or particles. Apply evenly (to both surfaces, if using Barge for a repair) using a brush or other applicator, and allow proper dry time. For sealing cork, allow the fresh coat of Barge to cure for a day or two before you resume wearing your footwear.
For shoe repairs, once adhesive is of tacky consistency, and dry time has passed, press together with weight for 1-2 minutes. Check container instructions for individual optimal drying times. For best results see individual container for instructions.
What does Dry Time mean?
Once Barge has been applied to both surfaces, dry time refers to how long you must leave the surfaces separated in order to allow the solvent to evaporate.
What does Open Time mean?
Once dry time is complete, open time is the amount of time the materials being bonded may be left out before being put together.
Does humidity effect dry time?
Yes, humidity will extend dry time.
